What is a fair price to pay for membership?

Our membership fee is based on someone's ability to pay.

All prospective members are not in the same financial or health situation! For those reasons, we do not charge everyone the same membership fee.  Being treated equal does not mean being treated equally.  Members help each other and support the Co-op by paying membership fees as appropriate to their life situation.  

Remember, your membership fee functions like a savings account, but instead of all the interest going to you, it is pooled with other members' interest to help offset the cost of operating the Co-op.   The value of your membership is returned to you when you end your membership.
